ITU World Rankings post Des Moines
![]()

The World Cup in Des Moines produced some stunning efforts. Emma Snowsill showed the world that Vanessa Fernandes is not the only athlete to take a look at in Beijing. The Australian Olympic Team also gave notice that their form is coming (all three girls in the top 10). The men's event showed that the U.S team will be a strong one and Rasmus Henning showed that he could run away from 30 guys all jumping off the bike at nearly the same time. What it also did was throw out a new set of World Rankings. Some of these hard charging athletes were able to grab some points in the absence of others, not to mention top up the old bank account!
